Description of The Hierophant
The Hierophant is crowned with the triple-crown and seated between two pillars, though not those guarded by The High Priestess. In his left hand, The Hierophant wields a scepter mounted with the triple cross; in his right hand he makes the well-known hand gesture of the faith, representing the distinguishing of esoteric from exoteric, that which is hidden from that which is made manifest.
