Welcome back my friends, I'm very happy that you're here because today we are going to be talking about a very interesting topic: the occult significance of names. This is a topic I find absolutely fascinating because you can see visible effects of it over a period of time.
Have you ever noticed how all of the names of the arch-angels end with el? And have you ever wondered why?
What if I told you that the name of a thing can increase or decrease it's virtue simply by an association with something else? It may sound like nonsense to some of you at first, but let us examine a few ideas and you might reconsider.
Everything in the universe is energy and everything in the universe was created by sound. I'm not sure if this accepted in science yet, but if it isn't, just give it time, it will be. Anyway, in the Bible it says that God spoke everything into existence. If nothing else, considering humans were made in the image of God to the highest degree possible, this implies that things-in-general can be spoken into existence.
I don't know about you, but I know I definitely have done this a few times in my life. Have you ever just wanted to take a day off work, so you called in sick, and then the very next day when you have to back in, you're actually sick?
Some people might argue that you simply programmed your subconscious inadvertently; and this, I would agree with. But that doesn't discount the potency of words. In my opinion it only reinforces the truth of the true-magic of words.
This concept of naming-for-virtue is basically a no-brainer in Indian culture. Nearly every Indian person I have ever met has been named with the evident intent of increasing the virtue of the person.
Let's take the name Raj for example.
This is a very common Indian name, and in Hindu it means "king".
A common variation of the name Raj is Balraj, which means 'king of strength'.
Do this, the next you see an Indian name, head on over to Google translate and type it in to the box and see what the English translation is. If you know this person personally, you'll probably be able to see the affect of the name on the person themselves.
In the United States, up until probably the mid 1990's, most parent chose their children's names from the Bible. So there were a lot of Johns, Marks, Peters, Adams, etc. I'm not sure if they actually understood what they were doing (doubt it) or if it was just popular at the time, but the concept is the same.
If I didn't know any better, I would wonder if there was some kind of concerted effort to influence the naming of children in the United States so that parents just name their children non-sense names, in hopes that their children don't amount to anything.
Let's look at another example: Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister, activist, and political philosopher who was one of the most prominent leaders in the civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968
His name contains multiple virtuous associations:
1. Martin Luther - Martin Luther OSA was a German priest, theologian, author, hymnwriter, professor, and former Augustinian friar. Luther was the seminal figure of the Protestant Reformation, and his theological beliefs form the basis of Lutheranism.
2. King - A leader, revered and celebrated.
I don't know about you, but from where I'm standing, it seems like he lived up to his name.
Turning this facet to the other side, there has been some not-insignificant arguments over the years that streets named named after Mr. King are more prone to violence. Now, "science" will dispute this to the ends of the Earth; I can't dispute or confirm this, it's just what I've heard over the years; google it, and you can read all about it. However, I can see how this could be true.
This is a kind of practical-magic that can be used by everyone to give virtue to a thing, and people do it every day, just look around and consider the associations of things and their names. Sports teams, businesses, websites, apps, technology.
I had planned to write a longer article, but I've just run out of time today (oops!). Anyway, if you want to hear more on this topic, or you want to hear about anything else, or even if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I love you all, have a wonderful day!

Some people might argue that you simply programmed your subconscious inadvertently; and this, I would agree with. But that doesn't discount the potency of words. In my opinion it only reinforces the truth of the true-magic of words.
Let's gain some perspective with a few examples...
If you were born in the United States, this is going to seem totally foreign to you, but in other countries, particularly in the East, parents carefully choose their children's names to associate them with a thing in hopes of gaining a spiritual benefit from the association. This concept of naming-for-virtue is basically a no-brainer in Indian culture. Nearly every Indian person I have ever met has been named with the evident intent of increasing the virtue of the person.

Let's look at another example: Martin Luther King Jr.

Now, "science" will dispute this to the ends of the Earth; I can't dispute or confirm this, it's just what I've heard over the years; google it, and you can read all about it. However, I can see how this could be true.
Partial Names Work Too
Even names that contain the letters of another name in order are effective. As with the names of the arch-angels that I mentioned previously, they all incorporate the name "El", which is the divine name associated with the 4th sefirot of the Kabbalistic Tree-of-Life, 'Chesed' (pronounced Hesed), and is associated with Loving-kindness, grace and mercy. A few English names that incorporate this, for example, are Elon, Elton and Daniel. But how does this actually work?
The idea behind how this actually works is pretty simple, but extremely profound. A word is more or less a physical embodiment of a spiritual concept. For us to be able to comprehend a thing, we give it a name so that we can think about it, because we think with in our first language. When we think about a thing that has a name, it is now associated with our mind, and in turn, our consciousness. Considering that we are all basically just borrowing consciousness from The Creator, our thoughts, and therefore, our beliefs carry a great deal of power. This is a kind of practical-magic that can be used by everyone to give virtue to a thing, and people do it every day, just look around and consider the associations of things and their names. Sports teams, businesses, websites, apps, technology.
Conclusion
This is a kind of practical-magic that can be used by everyone to give virtue to a thing, and people do it every day, just look around and consider the associations of things and their names. Sports teams, businesses, websites, apps and technology. Having this knowledge, there is no way I would ever just give some random name to something important to me, that is just foolishness. But that's just my opinion.I had planned to write a longer article, but I've just run out of time today (oops!). Anyway, if you want to hear more on this topic, or you want to hear about anything else, or even if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you can reach out to me at [email protected].
