Description of The Moon
The Moon card depicts a scene with a huge, bright full moon, rising between two large towers. It is pouring it's essence down to the Earth with a fallen countenance as two dogs stand below, probably howling at it. It's appeal and majesty are so immense that it's even attracting the animals of the water to come bask in it's glow.
We can see a long, winding dirt road, stretching off into the yonder hills in the distance.
The two towers are likely the towers depicted in the Death card, and the one to the left is probably the one depicted in The Tower
The Moon is side to be waxing to the right side or, the side of "mercy". It has 32 rays of light emanating from it which represent the 32 Kabbalistic Paths of Wisdom made famous by the Sefer Yetzirah: The Book of Creation. You can read the Short Version in it's entirety here.
